Masked MC Anybody Killa initial emerged in the Psychopathic Details/Insane Clown Posse collective in the past due ’90s, adding to monitors from likeminded types like Twizted, Blaze Ya Deceased Homie, and Esham. ABK also made an appearance on ICP’s The Wraith: Shangri-La. A slew of 2002 concert performances (especially at that year’s Gathering from the Juggalos) ready the planet for Killa’s full-length debut, and in Apr 2003, Hatchet Warrior finally slipped. The record intersected imagery attracted from ABK’s Indigenous American lineage with bloodthirsty gangsta idea, and laced its raps with the most common Psychopathic stew of gallows laughter, pro-marijuana shout-outs, and sources to Faygo soda pop and the town of Detroit. That summertime, ABK toured to get the album using a reunited Body Count number.
