A*M*E

Pop singer A*M*E (Aminata Kabba) was created in Freetown, Sierra Leone. At age eight, she relocated to London, Britain after her mother’s beauty salon was damaged by a open fire. Soon after her relocation, she created a casual pop group and quickly recognized that she’d become more comfortable on her behalf personal. She crossed pathways with songwriter/maker MNEK years later on and documented some collaborative materials, including “Town Lights.” Consider That’s Gary Barlow noticed that particular track and authorized her to his Universal-affiliated Long term label. The bouncy dance quantity, influenced by early home music and K-pop, was released in 2012, as had been “Trip or Die” and “Play the overall game Boy.” The same 12 months, she co-wrote “Gorgeous Stranger” for K-pop group f(x), who required it to number 1 in their indigenous Korea.
