Alpha Centauri

The really difficult rock group Alpha Centauri came jointly in 1971, in the unlikely host to Greeley, CO. It had been a three-piece music group in those initial years, comprising drummer Randy Thompson, keyboardist and vocalist Jess Redmon, and vocalist and guitarist Kurt Smith. In 1975, Garth Hannum became a member of, bringing his abilities as both a vocalist and bassist. Alpha Centauri toured over the United States another year or two, opening for many big rock serves. By 1977, Alpha Centauri transformed its interest toward Canada. That same calendar year, the music group finally released a debut record. The self-titled providing was recorded beneath the Sodium Records label. Another year there is a television particular and several live shows, but no sophomore record was finished for waiting supporters. The band’s only record was re-released in 1996.
