The latter half of Los Angeles-based post-punk/art rock duo Eagle & Talon, Kim Talon (JAN) blends the raw riot grrrl attack of Wild Flag using the sleek retro-rock panache from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Documented at Seattle’s London Bridge Studios and made by John Goodmanson (the Gossip, Blonde Redhead, Sleater-Kinney), JAN’s full-length eponymous studio room debut, that was preceded from the solitary “Function for the town,” premiered in November 2012.
