Smith is usually from the University or college of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and it is featured around the 2004 Compact disc entitled All of the Best Angles from your school’s CCM Faculty Jazztet. This isn’t the same Wayne Smith who performed guitar with Fat Waller some seven years earlier.
