Dora Lopes

Dora Lopes was an effective composer and singer in the ’50s and ’60s. In 1949 Dora Lopes made an appearance in Ary Barroso’s newbie show, enjoying instant success. She proved helpful at most important r / c of those situations, just like the Nacional as well as the Mayrink Veiga. Lopes also toured European countries many times and acquired hits using the music “Pó-de-Mico,” “Samba da Madrugada,” “Ponto de Encontro,” “Amor Proibido,” and “Velório de Sambista.”
