Created by ex-David Lee Garza y los Musicales singer/guitarist/composer Marcos Orozco, Grupo Rebelde surfaced as his part project to try out traditional Mexican music. The previous music instructor was became a member of by keyboardist Oscar Cruz, percussionist Roy Balderas, accordionist David González, bassist Lorenzo Hernández, and drummer Greg Enríquez.
