Lucke 22

Lucke 22 formed in early 1997, in Pinconning, MI, with a set lineup comprising Erik Szyperski (vocals, acoustic guitar), Ben Douglas (bass), and Doug Szyperski (drums). The Szyperski brothers, along with longtime friend Douglas, sought out inspiration on the task of rings like Everclear or Silverchair, consequently creating grunge-influenced melodies and rousing rock and roll themes. After 2 yrs where they played throughout their local golf club region, the trio finally made a decision to enter the studio room for the very first time. It had been in 1999 that this Michigan band shipped their first demonstration, soon before issuing their 1st CD, Something in my own Shoe, in colaboration with the website www.mp3.com.
