Benny Staples and Mike Nielsen were given birth to and raised in New Zealand, however they moved to Britain in 1984. Staples became a member of the Woodentops being a drummer, while Nielsen blended and constructed for Bjork, Merely Red, Naughty naturally and Underworld. Both teamed up in the middle-’90s to record minimalist techno with club-shaking home beats. Debut EP Mudpool made an appearance in 1995.
