Kellarissa

Kellarissa is Larissa Loyva, a whisper-quiet Vancouver vocalist and synthesizer experimentalist who first gained publicity in 1999 when she formed P:ano with Nick Krgovich. The duo, afterwards extended to a quartet, released three albums through the 2000s, where period Loyva also added to numerous rings and tasks around Vancouver, like the Choir Practice, Alunared, and FanShaw. P:ano ultimately disbanded, even though Krgovich and others produced No Children, Loyva began documenting by herself, both in the home and in the studio room, as Kellarissa. (The term is normally Finnish for “in the cellar.”) Her debut, Flamingo, appeared in 2008 on Mint, also the house of P:ano as well as the Choir Practice. Moon of Neptune implemented in 2011.
