The progressive power metal band Demons & Wizards was a side project for Blind Guardian vocalist Hansi Kursch and Iced Earth guitarist Jon Schaffer; in addition, it highlighted onetime Iced Globe drummer Tag Prator. Demons & Wizards documented a self-titled debut in 1999, with Schaffer also managing bass for the record (periodic lead electric guitar was added by visitor Jim Morris). Currently available in European countries, Demons & Wizards was released in the U.S. in early 2000 by Steamhammer/SPV.
