Floyd Taylor

The son of Johnnie Taylor, Floyd Taylor alternated between older R&B and contemporary blues materials throughout his career being a recording artist and tireless performer. Blessed in Chicago, he emerged up as a history vocalist and periodic duet partner for his dad, executing with him in the middle-’70s until his loss of life in 2000. Through the early 2000s, younger Taylor documented as a single musician for the Malaco label, where he released the albums Legacy (2002), WITHOUT DOUBT (2005), so you Still FIRST GOT IT (2007). He continued to record Most of Me (2010) for CDS and Shut Um Down (2013) for Artia. He passed away in 2014 at age 60.
