LaTour

LaTour was the alias of Chicago-based home manufacturer William LaTour, who all in 1991 scored a significant membership crossover smash using the novelty strike “FOLKS ARE Still MAKING LOVE,” featured on his self-titled debut LP. Following attempts to continue doing this early achievement — just like the follow-up “Allen’s Got a fresh Hi-Fi” — failed, nevertheless, and 1993’s House on the number appeared to small see, with LaTour falling completely out of view soon after.
