Cedric Wallace

Cedric Wallace’s perhaps most obviously association was using the pianist/vocalist Body fat Waller; he regularly performed and documented with Waller from 1938-1942, a period where the pianist loved his greatest well-known success. Upon shifting to NY in the first ’30s, Wallace caused a particular Reggie Johnson in the Saratoga Golf club and used bandleader Jimmie Lunceford. After and during his period with Waller, Wallace performed and documented with performers Una Mae Carlisle and Maxine Sullivan, the R&B musician Champ Jack port Dupree, pianist Pat Blossoms, and saxophonist Gene Sedric, amongst others. Wallace also led his personal groups around NY within the ’40s. He continued to be musically active in to the ’70s.
