Asbestosdeath

Asbestosdeath was an early on incarnation from the legendary stoner/doom music group Rest, featuring the primary trio of vocalist/bassist Al Cisneros, guitarist Matt Pike, and drummer Chris Hakius, in addition second guitarist Tom Choi. Created in the past due ’80s, the quartet released a set of 7″ singles in 1989’s Unclean and 1990’s Dejection which were made up mainly of songs later on on the 1st Sleep album, Quantity One, only inside a much less processed, dirtier, and sludgier guise. When Choi ultimately departed, toward the finish of 1990, Asbestosdeath officially changed into Rest, recruiting guitarist Justin Marler for these debut, but just achieving accurate cult worship like a trio, a while later, you start with 1993’s sophomore recording, Sleep’s Holy Hill.
