Méav

Ethereal Celtic vocalist Méav initial rose to prominence being a included soprano soloist using the choral group Anúna, that was included in a number of of the largest productions of Riverdance. Furthermore to comprehensive touring with Anúna, Méav also performed on many occasions using the Irish Country wide Chamber and Concert Orchestras. That mixed background was shown on Méav’s self-titled debut record, released in 2000 with the Hearts of Space label; it highlighted both traditional Celtic music and classical-style parts, plus chiefly orchestral agreements along with a dramatic modern sensibility. Silver Ocean (2003) and Celtic Trip and Celtic Girl (both 2006) brought those designs to a straight larger audience.
