Brittlestar

The lively, atmospheric pop/rock of Brittlestar is crafted by Stewart Reynolds, the band’s creative force and sole permanent member. Created and elevated in Ontario, Reynolds was raised hearing the melody-driven noises from the Beatles, Elvis, as well as the Bay Town Rollers. He released his music profession with some collaborations, partnering with Celtic musician Loreena McKennitt for Boy Blue, a short-lived pop duo, and later on aligning himself with many important songwriters (especially Stephen Duffy — business lead vocalist for the Lilac Period, original creator of Duran Duran, and co-writer for Robbie Williams’ Intensive Treatment) for the Brittlestar task. Waiting designated the band’s studio room debut in 2004, and MTV cherry-picked three songs from the recording to utilize during shows of REAL LIFE. A limited-edition EP, Pirates, adopted immediately after, and Secrets found its way to 2006.
