United kingdom foursome Angelou was shaped in the middle-’90s by gifted singer/guitarist Holly Lerski and guitarist Jo Baker, building their debut using the Hallelujah EP, released in 1997 by Heaven Information. A year afterwards, Calum MacColl created Angelou’s debut record, Automiracles. After bassist Chris Evans became a member of in, WHEN YOU Were Sleeping arrived, accompanied by the Sleepy Tour across the U.K. In 2001, Spanish label Un Diablo released a compilation known as Midnight Witcheries, enabling the band to become heard throughout European countries.
