G-5

Some sort of Spanish supergroup that transcends generational limitations, G-5 came together in March of 2006. After officially arranging itself, the music group started to compose and record in Jemez de la Frontera (around Andalusia, where flamenco can be from) later on that spring. Made up of four guitars (Kiko Veneno, Muchachito, and Marcos “Canijo” Del Ojo and Diego “Raton” Pozo from Los Delinquentes) and something cajón participant (Tomasito), G-5 released their debut recording, Tucaratupapi, an assortment of pop, jazz, and flamenco, during November of this same year.
