100 Flowers

Originally formed in the later ’70s simply because an intentionally silly punk band called the Urinals, 100 Flowers organized a couple of years afterwards (about vocalist John Talley-Jones and vocalist/guitarist Kjehl Johansen) using a sound even more rooted in angular post-punk. Located in West LA, the band documented a self-titled record for Content Squid in 1983 and implemented with an EP another calendar year, but disintegrated immediately after. Initial Johansen and afterwards Talley-Jones finished up in Trotsky Icepick afterwards within the ’80s. 100 Blooms’ back again catalog was rendered needless with 1990’s a century of Pulchritude, a compilation including all their released monitors plus many that weren’t.
