Wolfgang Ambros

An Austrian singer/songwriter and AustroPop pioneer, Wolfgang Ambros became a folk-rock staple in his homeland both for his primary music and his addresses (the task of Bob Dylan and Tom Waits key included in this). Ambros sailed in to the limelight in 1971 using the discovery one “Da Hofer,” and continued release a over 30 albums during the period of another three years. Ambros was probably most widely known for “Schifoan,” a melody that continued to become pretty much synonymous with the activity of winter sports in his homeland. The folk-rocker continuing launching albums and touring well in to the early 2000s.
