Unbelievable Truth

Named following a film by American director Hal Hartley, the Brit-pop trio Unbelievable Truth had been created in Oxford, Britain, in 1994 by singer/guitarist Andy Yorke (younger brother of Radiohead’s acclaimed frontman, Thom Yorke), bassist Jason Moulster, guitarist Jim Crosskey, and drummer Nigel Powell. Debuting in 1997 using the solitary “Building,” the group constructed a growing group of fans on the effectiveness of some EPs, including Rock and GREATER THAN Cause, before issuing the full-length Nearly Within 1998. Although Incredible Truth’s agreement with Virgin Information was not restored for another album, the music group partnered with a fresh label, Shifty Disco, before launching Sorrythankyou in 2000. That same season also noticed the dissolution from the music group, with frontman Yorke announcing his purpose to pursue a single profession. Misc. Music was posthumously released the next season, collecting B-sides and video footage through the band’s final present in Sept 2000.
