The Moth & the Flame

A Los Angeles-based experimental rock-band with very clear Radiohead affects, the Moth & the Fire formed in Provo, Utah in 2011 with singer/guitarist Brandon Robbins, keyboardist Tag Garbett, and drummer Andrew Tolman, previously the drummer for Imagine Dragons. The music group released an eponymous debut past due that yr and started what would become intensive touring over another couple of years, including South by Southwest and Sundance Film Festival Café looks in 2013. Made by drummer Joey Waronker (Atoms for Peacefulness, Beck), an EP entitled & arrived past due in 2013 on Hidden Information, and ongoing touring included starting spots for Picture Dragons and Neon Trees and shrubs. The band authorized with Elektra Information in nov 2014 and officially added Michael Goldman towards the lineup on bass. Made by Peter Katis (the Country wide, Jónsi), Tony Hoffer (MUCH BETTER THAN Ezra, Belle and Sebastian), and Nate Pyfer (Fictionist, Parlor Hawk) and offering string preparations by Rob Moose (Renée Fleming, Alabama Shakes, the Decemberists), their second EP, Youthful & Unafraid, premiered in 2015.
