The Yarrows were formed in western NJ by singer/guitarist brothers Matt Backes and Pierce Backes, who earned long-time friend Scott Barcalow on bass and afterwards Jack port Firneno on drums. Their debut record, Plum, premiered by Empyrean Information on Dec 18, 2007.
