Produced in Sierra Madre, California in the first 1990s, the summertime Strikes comprised vocalist/bassist Tartarex (blessed Rex Thompson), guitarist Daddy D. (Darren Radermaker) and drummer Joshua “Warm Summer months Vibe” Schwartz. Some loud, sun-drenched indie-pop singles implemented over another several years, which had been put together in 1997 on Seashores and Canyons 1992-96, a series issued on the tiny X-Mas label. Both Radermaker and Schwartz had been also in the similarly-inclined Further.
