Mono

Influenced by amazing jazz,’60s pop and classic film-soundtracks, the trip-hop duo Mono shaped around vocalist Siobhan De Maré and producer Martin Virgo, a one-time person in Nellee Hooper’s production group which done Massive Attack’s seminal “Unfinished Sympathy” in addition to Björk’s Debut. After Virgo installed with De Maré in middle-1996, the set recorded the life span in Mono EP and authorized to Mercury by the finish of the entire year. After focusing on their debut recording Formica Blues, Mono obtained a comparatively visible via an appearance around the soundtrack towards the American film Great Anticipations. Formica Blues premiered in the us in Feb 1998, half a year after its English appearance.
