Katie Herzig struck from her own following eight years because the frontwoman for Beginners House. Herzig was no stranger towards the single video game, having released her initial single record, View Them Fall, in 2004, so that it was no real surprise when, following dissolution of Beginners House in 2006, Herzig come up with a second record, Weightless, that was released that summertime. Made up of quirky, heartfelt music that nodded to twangy, warm-voiced performers like Devon Sproule and Neko Case, the record generated a substantial amount of important buzz, and many music from the record found their method onto network tv shows, notably Grey’s Anatomy. Herzig spent another 2 yrs playing gigs, collaborating with various other artists, and composing new materials, and she also were able to snag a 2007 Grammy nomination for just one of her music, “Heaven’s My House” (performed with the Duhks). Her third full-length record, Apple Tree, premiered in the springtime of 2008. Her music continuing to get its method onto tv shows and in 2011, she released her 4th single record The Waking Rest. She came back in early 2014 with Walk Through Wall space.
