Trainer Pimps founding member Chris Part began performing while the drippingly seductive electro-pop persona IAMX in 2004. Called after the Trainer Pimps album Getting X, Corner experienced efficiently become “X,” which he referred to as an ever-changing adjustable. Implementing the trappings of middle-’80s electro-pop and fresh wave functions like New Purchase, the Remedy, and Depeche Setting along with his pounding, reverb-swathed, synth-washed compositions, Corner’s are IAMX displayed a significant departure from his use the Trainer Pimps. After liberating a fourth recording, the icy, dance-tinged Volatile Occasions (2011), IAMX reunited with Jim Abbiss, who caused the Trainer Pimps on Getting X, and released The Unified Field in March 2013. In past due 2015, he released the dramatic Metanoia, a sinister dubby revise of his normal sound.
