In 1590 Gregorio took a posture in the court in Wolfenbuttel being a lutenist. The courtroom believed well of Huet the `luytslager’ due to his skills and amicability. In 1597 he previously constructed his “The Initial Book of Tracks or Ayres” and with various other musicians traveled towards the courtroom in Kassel where they performed for Moritz. Huet’s playing was regarded perfect especially for motets and madrigals. When he was no more needed on the courtroom, Michael Praetorious got Huet into his orchestra. Huet’s lute compositions included smart fantasias, pavans and galliards with significant amounts of musical decoration.
