Soleima

Soleima may be the nom de plume of pop superstar/vocalist/songwriter Sarah Mariegaard, formerly from the Danish hip-hop collective Flødeklinikken. Structured out of Copenhagen, Soleima’s evocative mixture of dreamy indie pop, R&B, and psych-tinged, left-field electro-pop invokes brands like FKA Twigs, Lykke Li, and fellow danes Karen Marie Ørsted (aka MØ) and Ellinor Olovsdotter (aka Elliphant). In 2016, Soleima slipped a small number of well-received singles, like the sugary “My Boi,” in expectation of her debut EP, No.14, that was released the next season via Parlophone.
