The alter ego of actor and singer Jerick Hoffer, Jinkx Monsoon is a move queen most widely known for winning the fifth season of the truth series Ru Paul’s Move Race. A character who combines the bigger than lifestyle quality of Disney villains with an old-school appeal, Monsoon performs within the ’20s revival work the Vaudevillains. Her initial solo record, self-consciously entitled The Inevitable Record, found its way to 2014.
