Les Clochards

Les Clochards’ sleek, eclectic, accordion-laced pop music draw from a broad number of affects including, but aren’t limited by, Gene Vincent, Billy Fury, and France chanson (Jacques Brel is an excellent touchstone here). Frontman Ian Nixon and accordionist Karen Cleave shaped Les Clochards in Britain in 2005; drummer Gary Neville, vocalist Corinne Mateo, guitarist Peter Momtchiloff, and bassist Dean Ryan had been brought on panel to circular out the group’s audio immediately after. The group’s debut full-length, Lovely Tableaux, premiered on Big Crimson Sky Records in ’09 2009.
