Bill Darnell

Among the busiest program singers from the past due-1930s and early-40s, Expenses Darnell appeared on recordings by such top-notch jazz bandleaders while Crimson Nichols, Bob Chester, Jimmie Lunceford and Edgar Hayes. Starting a solo profession within the early-1950s, Darnell obtained with remakes of “Chattanooga Footwear Shine Young man” and “M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I”, offering the harmonies of woman performing group, the Heathertones. Darnell 1st attracted attention, within the middle-1930s, when he caused alto saxophonist and bandleader, Jimmy Lunceford and his orchestra. He continuing to utilize Lunceford before early-40s. He documented with pianist Edgar Hayes, in 1937 and 1938, cornet participant Crimson Nichols in 1940 and saxophonist Bob Chester in 1941.
