Linda Taylor, former guitarist for the comedy display Whose Line COULD IT BE Anyway?, generally trapped to composing instrumentals, but she also discovered herself writing tracks having a vocalist at heart and made a decision to do something about that. Primarily the music was intended just like a side task, one which would perhaps create some demos and items for other performers, but after Taylor gathered the members from the band that could record her function, they all noticed that they ought to release a full album collectively. With Angela Carole Dark brown on vocals, Taylor on acoustic guitar, Ed Roth on keyboards, Del Atkins on bass, Mikal Majeed on body organ, Laval Belle on drums, and Catte Adams and Janelle Sadler on history vocals, Threshold released their debut, Amount Blues, that was influenced by R&B works like Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, Mavis Staples, and Stevie Question, on Taylor’s Rubicon Music in 2006.
