The Mercy Chair is a side project for Violent Femmes singer and guitarist Gordon Gano. Focusing specifically on gospel music, Gano takes on acoustic guitar with bass/drums support and sometimes sings, however the main focus is definitely on business lead vocalist Zena Von Heppinstall.
