Rap-metal combo the Workhorse Movement was shaped on the Support Pleasant campus of Central Michigan School in 1994 by singer Myron (given birth to Matt Kozuch-Rea), guitarist Independence (Jeff Piper), bassist Jay, and drummer Joe Mackie. After honing their audio at local night clubs and celebrations the group self-released their debut work Dopamine in 1995, relocating to Detroit 2 yrs later and putting your signature on to the neighborhood Overcore label to concern a self-titled EP. When Jay still left the Workhorse Movement to come back to school, brand-new bassist Grady (Jeff Wright) was recruited for an 18-month tour which also noticed the addition of second vocalist Cornbread (Chris Sparks). Bassist Pete Bever changed Grady for the band’s 2000 Roadrunner label debut Sons from the Pioneers.
