Demonoid

A supergroup side task by description, Swedish loss of life/thrashers Demonoid feature vocalist Christofer Johnsson and brothers Kristian (acoustic guitar) and Johan Niemann (bass) of avant-garde metallic veterans Therion, teamed up with former Soilwork drummer Rickard Evensand. Collectively, the foursome wanted to revisit a few of their old-school metallic affects, from thrash to loss of life, to concoct a brutal, intense, but nonetheless quite melodic and song-driven debut recording in 2004’s Riders from the Apocalypse, released by Nuclear Blast.
