Zusha

Based in NY, Zusha certainly are a Jewish-American folk-rock trio merging traditional Hasidic nigunim song designs with folk, soul, rock and roll, as well as reggae. Created in Manhattan in 2013 by previous JudaBlue vocalist Shlomo Gaisin along with guitarist Zachariah Goldschmiedt and drummer Elisha Mlotek, Zusha released their self-titled debut EP via the Brooklyn-based innovative collective Mason Jar Music in past due 2014. The band’s innovative mix was an instantaneous success, using the EP achieving quantity nine on Billboard’s Globe Albums graph. Live, Zusha perform at a multitude of venues from regular rock clubs just like the Bowery Ballroom as well as the Knitting Manufacturing plant to providing Purim and Havdalah concerts at Jewish centers and celebrations. Their 1st LP, Kavana, premiered in January 2016, debuting at number 2 on the Globe Albums chart.
