Led from the award-winning Zulya Kamalova, Zulya & the kids from the Underground are among the leading proponents of Tatar and Russian music not merely within their native Australia, but around the world. Zulya began carrying out publicly at age nine throughout Tatarstan-Udmurtia in central Russia, where she was created. Having analyzed both music and vocabulary in the university or college level, Zulya thought we would relocate to Australia in 1991, influenced by the country’s reputation for variety and hoping to talk about her music and tradition there.
