Zebulon Pike

Produced in 2002, Minneapolis, Minnesota-based progressive steel group Zebulon Pike combine the sprawling prog of classic rings like Hurry and Ruler Crimson using the muscular heaviness of Pentagram and Judas Priest, offering the group a sound that’s generating and exploratory. The quartet, comprising guitarists Morgan Berkus and Erik Fratzke, bassist Tom Berg, and drummer Erik Bolen, produced its debut in 2004 with And Bloodstream Was Interest, and implemented it up 2 yrs afterwards with Zebulon Pike II: The Deafening Twilight. In 2008, Zebulon Pike released their third record, Intransience, that they promoted using a Midwest tour with doom thrashers the Sword and Boris. Their 4th album, Space May be the Corpse of your time, premiered in 2011.
