Zac Harmon

Blessed and raised in Jackson within the center of Mississippi, Zac Harmon is a genuine extension from the music that originated from the town’s historic Farish Road district, the house of blues star Elmore Adam. A guitarist, organist, vocalist, and songwriter, Harmon’s distinct style combines the very best of old-school soul-blues performers like Z.Z. Hill and Dorothy Moore with contemporary lyrics and designs that permit the blues to breathe the brand new millennium. His live shows combine components of everything that inspired him: soul-blues, gospel, reggae, and contemporary blues-rock. Harmon performed electric guitar for Hill and Moore, in addition to Sam Myers and McKinley Mitchell, if they transferred through on the regional travels, and he finally transferred to L.A. in the first ’80s to have a true shot as of this music business.
