Vocalist and guitarist Yvonne Doll was created in Cincinnati, OH. The little girl of the music instructor, music was generally an integral part of her lifestyle. She started schooling early, acquiring piano lessons for over ten years, guitar lessons for pretty much that long, as well as spending four years understanding how to enjoy the alto saxophone. The threesome was likely to provide as a backup music group, but shortly became a long lasting fixture, and Doll became Yvonne Doll & the Local people. The Local people are bassist Christy Nunes, violinist David Goldman, and drummer Dave Buss. Buss was afterwards changed by drummer Ross Rutherford. In 2000, the group released the record, My Sort of Freak, which showcased music like “Wintertime Epidermis,” “Ohm,” and “Unglued.” Another season, Yvonne Doll & the Local people went to focus on a third record for 2002.
