In the past due ’70s, the chart-topping singer/songwriter Cat Stevens formally became female, adopted the name Yusuf Islam, and following the launch of his 11th and final Cat Stevens album (1978’s Back again to Globe), announced his retirement from your pop music business. Mainly inactive through the 1980s and ’90s, he came back in 2006 with a fresh studio work, An Other Glass, beneath the name Yusuf.
