Operating while both a music and artwork task, Los Angeles-based Young & Sick and tired is the idea of Dutch designer Nick Vehicle Hofwegen. Before releasing some of his music, Vehicle Hofwegen 1st became known in the look industry creating recording covers for main works like Foster individuals and Maroon 5. In 2012, his styles were featured inside a style range by Urban Outfitters. Around that same period, Truck Hofwegen extended the Youthful & Ill banner to add music aswell, independently launching the downtempo, R&B-influenced one “Home of Spirits.” Other singles appeared past due in 2012, as do a cooperation with Irish digital musician Mmoths known as “ON HER BEHALF.” While carrying on to create music, Youthful & Ill became associated with many more design tasks, like the cover for Robin Thicke’s chart-topping 2013 Blurry Lines album as well as the branding and artwork for BUKU, a big music and arts celebration in New Orleans. In 2013, the musical part of Teen & Sick agreed upon with Capitol imprint Harvest Information and Truck Hofwegen documented his debut full-length. In early 2014, after completing the artwork for Foster the People’s record Supermodel, Teen & Ill was commissioned to make a giant mural privately of the L.A. building which, at 148 by 126 foot, would contain the distinction to become the biggest mural ever built over the American Western world Coast. In the wintertime of 2014, Teen & Ill would finally play its initial concert events and was announced to execute at California’s esteemed Coachella Celebration. Teen & Sick’s self-titled debut record for Harvest premiered in Apr 2014.
