Young Scrap

Born in LA, singer/rapper Small Scrap earned his name because of his bad habit of scrapping, or fighting with each other. Since he previously spent the majority of his pre-teen years learning faucet and contemporary dance in his aunt’s dance studio room, Scrap needed to show he was difficult to the local people. His teenager years had been spent living a dual life, hearing hardcore hip-hop along with his close friends while dance with famous brands Debbie Allen and Savion Glover. When he fulfilled road dancer Tommy the Clown, both worlds begun to come together. He’d appear using one of Tommy’s Dvd videos and sign up for his dance troop, but a proceed to the Greenbelt/Fulton section of Maryland brought this profession to a finish. Focused solely on music, Scrap installed along with his uncle’s record firm and documented the record Puppy Power while a sophomore in senior high school. Even though the neighborhood hit presented him towards the main brands, Scrap waited for the proper deal. At age 19 he discovered it when the General Music Group emerged calling. In ’09 2009, the label released his discovery strike, the swaggering and Usher-flavored “Melody”. As he started focus on his debut record, Scrap backed the single using the mixtape Cali Prince plus live performances opening for vocalist Lloyd.
