Young Galaxy

Ex-Stars touring guitarist Stephen Ramsay founded space rock and roll outfit Teen Galaxy with partner Catherine McCandless. Both got were only available in Vancouver and relocated to Montreal to live and record. These were brought on plank Superstars’ label, Arts & Crafts, and released an EP and limited-edition 7″. Using a live lineup set up, Teen Galaxy toured using the Dears in fall 2006. In Apr 2007 the music group provided a self-titled debut record featuring contributions in the Dears, the Besnard Lakes, Superstars, Patrick Watson, and A Sterling silver Mt. Zion. In ’09 2009 they shipped the sophomore record Invisible Republic on Fontana North. It had been released the next year in some recoverable format Bag Information and garnered a 2010 Polaris Music Award nomination. Teen Galaxy implemented up with 2011’s Shapeshifting, offering creation by Dan Lissvik from the Swedish music group Studio. 2 yrs afterwards, they released their 4th studio record, Ultramarine. In 2015, Teen Galaxy returned using their fifth record and third with manufacturer Lissvik, the atmospheric and synthy Falsework.
