Latin singer Yolanda Duke was created within the Dominican Republic and raised within the U.S. after her family members moved to NY in 1969. Before earning her first event in 1979, tropical music became her favourite design. Yolanda Duke received New York’s Newcomer Designer Honor in 1990, and typically the most popular Woman Vocalist a 12 months later on. Her debut recording known as Soy Una Fiera was accompanied by a tribute to Cuban story La Lupe entitled Nostalgias de La Lupe.
