Yo-Yoz

Somehow, side among the Delicious chocolate Watchband’s second LP, The Inner Mystique, finished up consisting of materials that had not been recorded with the Delicious chocolate Watchband themselves, but simply by entirely different groupings. Two of these non-Chocolate Watchband-affiliated music were with the LA group the Yo-Yoz, which documented the jazzy psychedelic instrumental “Voyage from the Trieste” and a cover of We the People’s raga-rocker “Before” for manufacturer Ed Cobb. Although these were hardly ever issued beneath the Yo-Yoz name, Cobb utilized them, with some overdubs, to complete The Internal Mystique. Though it had been a fairly unconscionable action to advertise these as Delicious chocolate Watchband recordings, in fact they’re pretty good period psychedelic quantities in any way, particularly “Before,” though We the People’s primary version is way better. Another Yo-Yoz monitor, “The Uncharted Ocean” (in fact an early consider of “Voyage from the Trieste”), made an appearance over the 2005 Chocolate Watchband compilation Melts in THE HUMAN BRAIN Not on your own Wrist: THE ENTIRE Recordings 1965 to 1967.
