Yishka

Yishka may be the kid of Teddy Greaves, a favorite Western world Indies’ entertainer. Blessed in Jamaica, his family members transferred to the Bahamas when he was two-years-old, and transferred back again to Jamaica when Yishka is at his late teenagers. A trumpet participant, Yishka initial sung prior to the community while associated his father in a resort in Montego Bay. Afterwards Yishka transferred to Kingston and became a member of a band known as the United Superstars. It was using the United Superstars which the musically gifted Yishka discovered the saxophone. He became a member of an organization led by Earl Smith a calendar year later — Spirit Syndicate — whose lead vocalist was Freddie McGregor. The music group was extremely popular and distributed stages, because the starting act, for a few of Jamaica’s most significant reggae rings. The multi-skilled musician/vocalist began doing plenty of program work. He transferred to Miami, FL after 3 years in the studio room and formed Root base Uprising where he performed sax and do some business lead vocals. Ian and Roger Lewis documented two albums on Root base Uprising: Gorgeous Music, and Magic Town. He sung with an record with reggae group Pleasure Unlimited uncovered and made by Stevie Question. Homesick, Yishka came back to Jamaica in 1988 and continuing to create; he became a member of a band known as Skool, where he sang and performed sax. A year or two later he became a member of Riddim Drive who do a one-year gig in Japan. Alongside maker Phillip Roane’s help, Yishka waxed his 1st solo Compact disc entitled Yishka, the to begin many such tasks to come.
