Years

Years is really a dark ambient instrumental part task for Ryan Parrish, drummer for Washington, D.C.-centered death metallic/metalcore outfit Darkest Hour and screamo band City of Caterpillar. Years depends greatly on languid, melodic interludes and an insistent mechanised backbone that echoes its creator’s penchant for the tempo. Parrish released a break up EP with Graham Scala (aka Ventoux), the creator of experimental rock and roll outfit Souvenir’s Youthful America, called Change in Moods/The Inferno from the Living within the MAGIC PILL label in 2008.
